Village of La Venocs Commune of Des deux Alpes

At the gateway to the Ecrins National Park, Venosc is an authentic mountain village with its cobbled streets, its craftsmen, base camp for mythical hikes and outdoor sports

Village of Mont de Lans Commune of Des 2 Alpes

The village is a residential one, and offers you the opportunity to visit the old streets and the museum of traditions and arts "Chasal Lento" located in the old presbytery of the church.

By taking the "chemin des serres", you can discover from an orientation table, a unique viewpoint on the lake of Chambon (hydroelectric reservoir) and the Romanche valley as well as the "grand pic de la Meije" which culminates at 3982 meters

a few minutes away, on the ancient Roman road, an unusual and majestic work, carved in the rock and registered in the catalog of historical monuments: the Roman Door. The Virgin of Bons, a small statuette that probably adorned a niche of an oratory, is exhibited in the Chasal Lento Museum.

Bons

nestled on its "Cuq" (rocky hillock) and very well exposed, you can discover it by taking the road that passes in front of the ruins of an old mill while listening to the song of the waterfall of the piss. It has the pride of having sheltered in its chapel a magnificent alabaster statue dating from the 16th century and representing the Virgin, classified as a historical monument and now exposed in the village museum.

Cuculet

with its old houses clinging to the mountainside, it is the crossroads of paths that were once used for exploitation and have now become hiking trails; you can thus access the ruins of the "Châtelard", the old coal mines of La Molière, and Les Posettes to reach the surrounding hamlets.

Le Ponteil

a small road cut in the rock at the place called "le grand rocher" brings you to the Travers junction then winds in the middle of a thick fayard wood. It is a mountain slope, "oasis of freshness and greenery" in summer, where there are about ten places called "lieux dits" connected by a winding road : les Cros, la Rollandière, la Faurie, le Pénail, les Eymards, les Hugues, la Baronnière, les Touches, la Rivoire, le Garcin without forgetting le Sappey, a wildlife reserve, an abandonned village from which one discovers a splendid panorama.

Bourg D'Oisans The capital of the Oisans

On the road between Grenoble and Briançon, Bourg d'Oisans is located on a major communication axis to cross the Alps.

Extending over 22 km, the municipality encompasses the entire lower agricultural plain of the Romanche, from Rochetaillée to the beginning of the Vénéon valley, with the Lauvitel lake.

The Bourg d'Oisans basin, bordered by folded cliffs and steep wooded slopes, is very characteristic of the work of erosion and accumulation carried out by the waters of glaciers.
